Rascoff is a prominent real estate tech executive, the co-founder and former CEO of Zillow, co-founder and Chairman of Pacaso, and an investor in over 25 real estate tech companies including Arrived Homes, Fly Homes, Nomad, Offerpad, LaHaus, Fly Homes, EasyKnock, ButterflyMX, Crexi, Avenue 8, and Radius Agent. He’ll cover the history of innovation in PropTech while also looking forward to where our industry is going.

Co-founder & Chair of Pacaso, Recon Food, Queue, dot.LA, 75 & Sunny Ventures

Spencer Rascoff is an entrepreneur and company leader who co-founded Zillow, Hotwire, dot.LA, Pacaso, Recon Food, Queue, Path, Supernova's family of SPACs, and 75 & Sunny. Spencer served as Zillow's CEO for a decade. During Spencer’s time as CEO, Zillow won dozens of “best places to work” awards as it grew to over 4,500 employees, $3 billion in revenue, and $15 billion in market capitalization. Prior to Zillow, Spencer co-founded and was VP Corporate Development of Hotwire, which was sold to Expedia for $685 million in 2003.

Through his startup studio and venture capital firm, 75 & Sunny, Spencer is an active angel investor in more than 100 companies and is incubating several more. He serves as executive chair of dot.LA, a news site covering the Los Angeles tech scene. He is also co-founder and board chair of Pacaso, the company pioneering a new way to own a second home. He is co-chair of Supernova, a family of Special Purpose Acquisition Companies, which take public great private companies. Supernova I merged with Offerpad, a leading real estate company, in Fall 2021, and Supernova II merged with quantum computing company Rigetti Computing in March 2022. Spencer is on the Board of Directors of Palantir, and is a former Board member of Zillow Group (Nasdaq: ZG), TripAdvisor (Nasdaq: TRIP), Zulily (Nasdaq: ZU), Julep, and several other tech companies. He is on the Board of Advisors for PledgeLA, a coalition working to increase diversity, equity and community engagement in LA’s tech community.

Spencer is a Visiting Professor at Harvard University where he teaches the StudioLab on Creativity and Entrepreneurship -- Startups from Ideation to Exit through the Lemann Program on Creativity and Entrepreneurship (LPCE). In Fall 2019, Spencer was also a Visiting Professor at Harvard Business School where he co-created and co-taught the “Managing Tech Ventures” course. In 2015, Spencer co-wrote and published the New York Times’ Best Seller “Zillow Talk: Rewriting the Rules of Real Estate.” Spencer is the host of "Office Hours,” a podcast featuring candid conversations between prominent executives on leadership, diversity and inclusion, and startups. Before his consumer web career, Spencer worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and in private equity at TPG Capital. He is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Spencer graduated cum laude from Harvard University.

Elizabeth is a REALTOR® from Columbia, Missouri, and served at the 2018 President of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. A sixth-generation REALTOR®, Elizabeth is the CEO for RE/MAX Boone Realty and has been in the business since 1996.  She has two offices with 170 agents and maintains number one market share in both territories.

As President of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, Elizabeth helped drive bold innovation, specifically aimed at heightening NAR’s communications, technology and advocacy strategies. Accomplishments include amplifying real-time member communications, championing fair housing, and positioning REALTORS® as technology advocates to further emphasize the critical nature of the role REALTORS® provide in the industry. 

An accomplished speaker, Elizabeth has presented to REALTOR® and industry audiences, nationwide and abroad. Elizabeth has earned numerous industry accolades and awards such as the RIS Media 2018 Newsmaker Award, 2017 & 2018 Swanepoel Power 200, Columbia Area Young Professionals Athena Award Inaugural Honoree, and RE/MAX Mid-States Broker Owner of the Year.

Active in her community, Elizabeth served on the board of directors for the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the local United Way, and Job Point. She also founded and served as the first president of the Mid-Missouri Affiliate for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.
