It's Just My Opinion But....

So this is my last blog as your 2013 President and mostly I want to thank you for selecting me to serve in this way. What a marvelous experience it has been!  Together we have accomplished more in 2013 than in any previous year. We began with O2...a new way of doing our association business. And through the new dynamism O2 generated, we successfully held our American Dream Rally in St. Louis. We moved on to re-brand ourselves as Missouri REALTORS with a new "way cool" logo, a brand promise and a video featuring our own members that pulls at my heart strings every time I watch it. What a beautiful and true image of us it portrays! Next we had The Summit...a super day of learning this year with separate tracks for brokers and agents. Add to that our second Commercial Day. We have Legal Line available to all and are building a legal archive for frequently asked questions. And we support risk management with forms training in various locales. For RPAC we blew the doors off fundraising and especially the number of major donors.  We have our own private networking and business intelligence tool that is growing more valuable with great content day by day.  All of these and other new endeavors are supported by our new and visionary Strategic Plan.  I could go on but you get the idea.

Just as I hoped, this year has resulted in so much synergy within our association and a willingness to try new things as we seek to provide each and every member with something of value. In a dynamic partnership with our talented staff, we can mark 2013 down as a successful year.

I wish for each of you a time now to reflect on your own achievements of 2013 and a vision for your own business in 2014. Rest assured your Missouri REALTORS will be right there beside you offering you tools, events and services that help you succeed and protect your business now and in the future. Get involved with us and, I promise, the journey will be rewarding.
