It’s hard to believe, but it is time to start planning for 2016. It is my pleasure to let you know that we are now accepting applications to help fill our Governance Structure (O2) for 2016. O2, which stands for Outreach and Output, was implemented in 2012 to help align Missouri REALTORS® committee structure with its mission. O2 is focused on increasing member value and providing a nimble structure that can react in today's ever-changing industry. Since implementing O2, Missouri REALTORS® has reached new milestones in an unprecedented amount of time. The best part about O2 is that is allows all members to play a part and have a voice.
John Maxwell said, “We cannot become what we need by remaining what we are.”
Now is your opportunity to help move our industry forward and play a meaningful part in the future direction of Missouri REALTORS®. Play a part by signing up to serve on a Leadership Committee, an Output Group, or our Statewide Professional Standards Committees. More information about each role and the sign-up forms can be found on Missouri REALTORS® website. I encourage you to get involved and help Missouri REALTORS® be ready to embrace changes in our industry as they come.
We will have more information and sign-up availability at our April Business Conference. I hope to see you all there. The deadline to apply for all Missouri REALTORS® leadership positions is June 30, 2015. Please note that you can become a member of an Output Group at any time.
The 2016 NAR committee recommendation process is also now underway. Here is another chance to have a voice and serve our industry. The deadline for submitting NAR committee recommendations is May 22, 2015. All recommendations must be submitted via their online form.
