Our Spring Business Conference will take place April 23-25 in Kansas City and I’m excited to see everyone in just over a month. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about anticipated and upcoming changes resulting from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) settlement that was recently announced.
During this time, you will also be able to attend governance meetings, hear from guest speakers, and participate in numerous networking and educational sessions.
We will get the week started on Monday with “Living the Dream | Fair Housing for All.” Hosted by the Missouri Chapter of REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI), this event will highlight practical, everyday tips to make sure you give the best professional service to your clients. Please note, this class will be held offsite at the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® Leawood office. Additional information about this class can be found HERE.
The conference will officially begin Tuesday with a diverse offering of governance meetings and educational opportunities, including “Sweeping Glass | The Unexpected Work of Staying Sharp in Business.” Hosted by the Missouri Women’s Council of REALTORS®, you will learn practical tips and resources to improve your relationship with business, while learning to break through barriers and challenge the status quo.
Then, Tuesday afternoon, please join us for the Opening General Session which will begin with a brief litigation update regarding NAR’s proposed settlement agreement. We will then welcome keynote speaker Nick Krautter as he discusses business planning amidst industry changes, which will be immediately followed by the Welcome Reception. Later that evening, Missouri WCR will host "Boots, Bling, & Bingo." You won't want to miss this fun networking event!
Wednesday is action-packed and full of governance meetings. Start your day with thoughtful Output Group discussions before additional education offerings and Mission Committee meetings. You won't want to miss the Emerging Issues Forum, which will be immediately followed by the Candidate Forum. That evening, join us for the Robert W. Borgmann RPAC Auction and dinner. I hope to see you at the Missouri REALTORS®' RPAC event of the year! "
The conference will conclude Thursday with the Board of Directors meeting.
