COLUMBIA, MISSOURI – Nearly 500 Missouri REALTORS®, affiliates, and sponsors from across the state gathered for Missouri REALTORS® Spring Business Conference, April 23-25, in Kansas City.
The conference began Tuesday with governance meetings and educational offerings, followed by the Opening General Session that afternoon, where Missouri REALTORS® welcomed Nick Krautter, REALTOR® and author of the Golden Handoff: How to Buy and Sell a Real Estate Agent’s Business. During this time, Krautter discussed business planning amidst industry changes.
Throughout the week, members attended governance meetings and educational opportunities; a highlight of which was “Copyright and Concerns for REALTORS® Using AI.” During this session, National Association of REALTORS® Senior Counsel Chloe Hecht discussed practical concerns as well as best practices when utilizing artificial intelligence tools the correct way.
On Wednesday afternoon, following the Emerging Issues Forum, conference attendees heard from candidates seeking the position of NAR Director during the NAR Director Candidate Forum. Citing three candidates, St. Charles REALTOR® Matt Becker was elected during Thursday’s Board of Directors meeting to serve as a NAR Director in 2025.
The conference concluded Thursday morning with the Board of Directors meeting.
Missouri REALTORS® will meet for their Fall Business Conference in Branson, MO., September 24-26, 2024.
