Columbia, Missouri – Jamie Thornsberry of Columbia, Missouri, has been named the recipient of Missouri REALTORS® 2025 Bruce Aydt Code of Ethics Leadership Award.
Bruce Aydt, a past president of Missouri REALTORS® as well as a National Association of REALTORS® Distinguished Service Award recipient, has been a role model as a REALTOR® leader at the local, state, and national levels throughout his entire career. This award recognizes a REALTOR® who has been a role model in professionalism while engaging in activities such as offering advice and counsel on the Code of Ethics, teaching the Code to other REALTORS®, serving on grievance and professional standards committees, or embodying the central concepts of honesty, integrity, competence, and fair dealing as outlined in the Preamble to the Code.
Thornsberry received this award on Wednesday, September 24 during the Missouri REALTORS® Fall Business Conference.
Jamie Thornsberry is a respected leader in Missouri’s real estate community, known for her commitment to ethical standards and REALTOR® governance. She served as the 2023 President of the Columbia Board of REALTORS® and has chaired both the local and state Forms Committees, helping shape fair and transparent real estate practices across Missouri. Jamie was honored as Columbia Board of REALTORS® REALTOR® of the Year in 2017 and is a graduate of both the CBOR and Missouri REALTORS® Leadership Academies.
Beyond governance, Jamie is a Buffini Certified Mentor and holds multiple designations including ABR, SRS, RENE, PSA, AHWD, and C2EX. She actively trains and mentors agents in Columbia, promoting professionalism and adherence to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. Her dedication extends to community service, with volunteer work supporting organizations like the Children’s Miracle Network, Boys and Girls Club, and the Central Missouri Food Bank.
