Missouri REALTORS® are so much more than just real estate professionals. They dedicate their time to serving on school boards and running for elected positions. They educate, serve on panels, volunteer and facilitate industry discussions. Their philanthropic efforts are inspiring, and the difference they are making within their communities is significant. Our Member Spotlight series highlights these efforts and introduces some of our wonderful members.
This month, we are shining the Member Spotlight on Adam Stein.
Adam Stein, owner of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Stein & Summers Real Estate, is a leader in the St. Joseph community that uplifts his neighbors and inspires his peers.
Adam became a REALTOR® in 2002 and specializes in leasing, development and commercial real estate sales, while also overseeing the residential brokerage and property management divisions of his company. He has been an advocate for bringing new businesses to the community.
He has made impressive contributions to the Missouri REALTOR® community as an industry leader. Adam has served as the President of the St. Joseph Association of REALTORS® and has sat on the Kansas City Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors. His accomplishments in real estate have been recognized across Missouri, including the Power Broker award for both St. Louis and Kansas City.
Some of Adam’s most notable philanthropic work has been with his local chapter of the United Way, a nonprofit organization that advocates for the health, education and financial stability of all community members. As a campaign chair, Adam has helped raise over 3 million dollars that go directly into community development initiatives.
Adam currently serves on the Board of Directors for United Way and Mosaic Life Care. Some of his previous board seats and volunteer work include Habitat for Humanity St. Joseph, University of Missouri Alumni Association, Pony Express Museum, YWCA, YMCA, Rotary Club, Ag-Expo Business Center, Chamber of Commerce, The Heritage Foundation, Adopt a Family, Allied Arts Council, Downtown Art Walk and the Noyes Home.
We celebrate Adam Stein for his infectious enthusiasm for the real estate industry and his commitment to collaborating with friends and peers to build an even better, even brighter St. Joseph.
