The market is doing better. Are you?

Last week, someone asked me, “How’s the market?”

I replied, “It’s better.” J Sound familiar?

I can’t believe it is almost March! It’s so easy to lose sight of our goals for a better 2014. Work, Kids, SNOW, COLD…..the freshness of a new year has worn off. Thank GOD spring is just around the corner!

In my last blog I shared on how we… REALTORS from across the state...came together to be better at our Capitol Conference and January Business Conference in Jefferson City. (If you missed it, watch this!) From advocating for property rights in Missouri to donating over $3,000 to our Good Neighbor Award winner, Missouri REALTORS stepped up to the plate. We started the year off with a bang. Let’s not lose that momentum.

Our next opportunity to “be better” collectively is in just a couple of months. MR’s April Business Conference is April 23-25. In addition to our business meetings, this conference features our annual RPAC Auction. This is a chance to have some fun AND invest in the future of the Missouri real estate industry. Where else can you do that with 300+ friends from across Missouri?

PLEASE join us in St. Louis. If you can’t make it….don’t let this stop you from being better! Connect with your local board to be a part of an upcoming meeting or event, make your $15 RPAC investment, or better yet, pledge to be a bigger donor than last year. Who knows, you might even decide to be a Major Investor this year and get one of these Major Investor Jackets!

And…. Be a volunteer in your community. You are the fabric, the glue, the foundation of your community. Make a difference as you live your life. Hug your kids. Call your mom/dad and tell them that you love them. Be better!

As Missouri REALTORS, we formally meet 3 times a year. That makes it difficult for me to check on you and see if things are better for you!
