“If you missed THE SUMMIT, you missed out!” I saw this a few times on my social media feed from those that attended the education and networking event of the year. It was indeed a fabulous event and people are still talking about it online! Watch our opening session video to get a glimpse of the feel for the day.
Here are a few highlights for those that couldn’t make it.
Fresh faces
It was great to see so many new faces at this year’s event. This tells me that we have new members wanting to learn and grow and BE BETTER! It was great to meet so many dedicated and eager-to-learn REALTORS®.
Networking and Fun
We certainly delivered on this aspect. From networking in the hallway to “connecting” on Twitter and having a great time laughing and socializing at the hypnotist Thursday evening, THE SUMMIT provided a great mix of both education and fun. Speakers
We had an amazing lineup of speakers. From Marilyn Wilson to the always great Lawrence Yun and our own Steve Graham to the Notorious Rob Hahn and the unforgettable Terry Watson. I had several people tell me that our keynote speaker Terry Watson was hands down the best speaker they have ever heard! He certainly had me laughing…and learning. And I can’t think of a better way to end the day than the emotionally moving Rob Hahn that reminded us all that we are the defenders of the American Dream. Hat’s off to the committee for selecting such a great lineup. (Speaker presentations are available to attendees in THE SUMMIT community.)

We learn so much from each other. The Power Broker and Power Agent panel provided an opportunity to share success stories and collaborate. Thanks to our expert panelists for being available and opening up.

As with all great things, this event would not have been possible without the hard work of many. Kudos to the Member Network Committee and the Professional Development Output Group for planning a great day. What did I miss? For those that were in attendance, what was your favorite moment or takeaway?
Remember that the work doesn’t stop now. Take the strategies that resonated with you and develop a plan to implement them. They are strategies for peak performance, but climbing the mountain is not easy work. Keep on it and strive to BE BETTER…every single day.
