We recently concluded a successful Spring Business Conference in Kansas City with nearly 500 Missouri REALTORS® members, affiliates, and sponsors in attendance! Following governance meetings and educational offerings on Tuesday, members participated in the Opening General Session that afternoon, which featured keynote speaker Nick Krautter, REALTOR® and author of the Golden Handoff. Wednesday began with governance meetings and additional educational opportunities, followed by the Emerging Issues Forum. During this time, members heard from Mitchell Skinner, Attorney and Managing Member at Larson Skinner, and Robert Campbell, General Counsel and Vice President of Risk Management for Missouri REALTORS®, on what changes the NAR settlement could bring, what isn’t changing, and sharable resources to help REALTORS® stay up to date on this issue. Immediately following the Emerging Issues Forum, conference attendees heard from candidates seeking the position of NAR Director during the NAR Director Candidate Forum. I’d like to congratulate Matt Becker of St. Charles REALTORS® for being elected during Thursday’s Board of Directors meeting to serve as an NAR Director in 2025!
Wednesday concluded with the Robert W. Borgmann RPAC Auction and dinner, where a record-setting $107,500 was raised to support our industry! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated.
