Feed your mind … and your belly! Join us for this Lunch and Learn session, organized by the Appraisal Section. During this session, you can ask all your “why, what, when, where” questions to a panel of experts from the appraisal industry. What's better than that? You'll leave with food for thought to better serve your current and future clients!

David R. Doering, ASA, IFA is a State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser with over 35 years of experience in the appraisal profession. He holds the ASA – Senior Accredited Appraiser and the IFA - Residential Appraiser Specialist designations of the American Society of Appraiser (ASA) is a Senior Instructor with the ASA and is AQB Certified USPAP Instructor. In addition to taking specialized appraisal courses over the years, he holds a BA in Economics from the University of Missouri. He is a Past National President of the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers, and currently serves as a Real Property Discipline Governor to the International Board of Governors of the American Society of Appraisers, is a former member of the ASA – NAIFA Real Property Committee and now serves as an ex-officio member of the committee. In addition, Doering is the President of the Missouri Appraisers Advisory Coalition which is the state appraiser advocacy coalition and is a Past Chair of the Missouri REALTORS® Appraisal Section. He has been a guest lecturer on real estate appraisal principles for business and real estate courses at Lincoln University as well, has been fundamental in the development and presentation of numerous real estate appraisal qualifying education and continuing education courses and seminars. In 2018, Doering was named Appraiser of the Year by the ASA-NAIFA/Real Property Committee and the 2020 recipient of the American Society of Appraisers Paul A. Wetzel Award for volunteer service to the appraisal profession.

Leigh Ann DuParri is a 2nd generation, State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser and Real Estate Broker for American Dream Realty in Cassville, Missouri, which has been in business since 1989. Her husband, daughter, and sister are also in real estate sales. Leigh Ann is FHA and VA certified; serves a 4-county, southwest Missouri area; has served 2-years as a Director of the Newton-McDonald County Association of Realtors; is the Vice President of the Newton-McDonald County Association of Realtors; is involved in the Realtor Political Action Committee; is a member of both the Southwest Missouri Appraisal Committee; and has recently become involved with a National-level appraisal committee. Leigh Ann is currently serving as the 2022 Appraisal Section Chair for Missouri REALTORS®.

Linda Long is the current Chair of Missouri REALTORS® Appraisal Section and the 2021 Chair of the Greater Springfield Board of REALTORS® (GSBOR) Appraisal Committee. She also serves as a GSBOR MLS Board of Directors and is a State Director for Missouri REALTORS®. Linda owns Long Appraisal LLC in Southwest Missouri and has been a Real Estate Appraiser since 1991. She currently holds a Certified General Appraiser License in Missouri and a Real Estate Broker License in Missouri and specializes in mostly residential properties including large acreages and and vacant agricultural land and in VA, FHA and USDA appraisals. Linda is a former Appraisal Instructor for Ozark Technical Community College in Springfield, MO.

Pam is the 2022 MLS President of the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors. (GSBOR). She is on the GSBOR Board of Director's. Pam is serving her second term on the SOMO Regional MLS Board of Directors in SW Missouri. Pam has been the Chair of GSBOR Appraisal Committee several times through her service since 1997. She is active with GSBOR Committee's including Executive Committee, RPAC, Community Development, Awards and Events, Realtor Party and Realtors Helping People. She served as Chair of the MAR Appraisal Committee in 2020 and is now serving as Vice Chair for 2022.She was a founding member of the MAR Appraisal Committee in 1998.  She has served as a State MAR Director for over 6 years. She served on the MAR Strategic Planning Committee for 3 years. Pam is on the 2022 MAR Leadership Academy. She is serving her second year on the NAR Real Property Valuation Committee.

 

Over 30 years as an Appraiser in the Springfield area.  AHWD, RAA and former IFA certifications. Pam has been a Realtor since 1975. Pam was appointed to the Christian County Board of Equalization in 2021 and serving a 3 year term.

She is very involved with the homeless Veterans in the Springfield area. She serves at the Coming Home Veterans Center furnishing meals, clothing and other needs. Pam was a former Missionary in Honduras and Haiti.

Tim Reavis

Tim is a lifelong native of Lawrence County and has been an appraiser in Southwest Missouri for over 25 years, completing residential assignments in small-town and rural areas. He lives in Marionville, with his wife, and enjoys all outdoor activities. Tim has been an active member of the Greater Springfield Board of REALTORS® (GSBOR) Appraisal Committee and has served on several Appraisal Panels in the GSBOR Lunch and Learn meetings. Tim is the owner of Reavis Appraisal Services LLC.
