I know for most of us it feels like 2017 just started but it is time for us, as an association, to start the planning process for our 2018 governance structure. Commonly referred to as O2, this structure is intended to align the Missouri REALTORS® committee structure with our mission and provide ample opportunities for members to participate in the process of directing our Association into the future.
You can get involved by going to the Missouri REALTORS® website and completing a sign-up form. Follow the simple directions to express your interest in serving on a Leadership Committee, Output Group or one of the Statewide Professional Standards Committees. You can also find more information regarding each role on the site. The deadline to apply for all leadership positions is May 23, 2017, but you can become a member of an Output Group at any time.
This is also a great time to ensure your profile on our online community, THE LANDING, is accurate and up to date with a recent photo of yourself.
Participation in Missouri REALTORS® governance is not only rewarding but also helps ensure that we accomplish great things that benefit our members and real property rights in the State of Missouri. The 2018 NAR committee application process is also now underway. Here is another chance to have a voice and serve our industry. The deadline for submitting NAR committee recommendations is also May 23, 2017. All applications must be submitted via their online form.
