NAR Mid-Year Day 3

The third day of the NAR Mid-Year can be summed up in just one word...Rally!   By most definitions, the word "rally" means to come to together to support a cause.  That could not have been more true on Thursday as more than 13,500 REALTORS rallied in support of the American Dream. 

I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about whether this REALTOR Rally could be pulled off with so little planning time and never having done something of this magnitude.  As I walked into the Capitol Mall and the area surrounding the Washington monument, I realized that the REALTOR spirit once again proved that this organization can accomplish greatness when given a challenge. 

For those who were not there, words cannot express the feelings of pride that our members showed as they "came together" to support home ownership. Please watch this video.  You will, I hope, understand.  Being a REALTOR is more than paying your dues and wearing the REALTOR "R".  It is the faces of the people in this video. 

For those who were there, THANK YOU!  You made your fellow Missouri REALTORS proud on a day when there was no doubt that the American Dream of home ownership was alive and well in our nation's capitol.
