NAR Mid-Year Day 2

One of the best things about coming to DC are the museums and historical sites that represent so much of our country's and world's history. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to visit the Newseum last evening. The Newseum is a museum focused on the "news" industry. From print to radio to TV to internet. It was overwhelming to see the world through journalists eyes in a variety of interesting and powerful ways. From the Pulitzer Prize winning photos to the display of the coverage of 9/11, this was an extraordinary look back in time.

As the photos from the Newseum depict below, we live in a country of immense freedoms and liberty. In my busy life, I unfortunately take that for granted on most days. It is only when I am reminded that not everyone in the world has those same rights that I realize how fortunate I am to live in the U.S.

I hope next year more of you can experience the NAR Mid-Year meetings here in DC. If you do, please take time to visit the Newseum. My guess is that you too will walk away with having had a memorable experience and just maybe a reminder of how great a country we live in.

Your CEO,

Russ Cofano
