The SUMMIT is the education and networking event for Missouri REALTORS® and it is right around the corner (August 14 to be exact). While there are numerous reasons to attend, here are my Top 10.

We have top industry leaders from across the country lined up to lead educational discussions and classes on hot topics in the industry. The SUMMIT is designed to give you the opportunity to learn from and interact with industry leaders from Missouri and beyond. Don’t believe me, just take a look at our speaker lineup.
#9 – Golf
Ready for some fun in the sun with fellow REALTORS? Come a day early and take part in the 16th Annual Larry Crookshanks Memorial RPAC-MO Golf Tournament on Tuesday, August 13. The tournament will take place at Osage National Golf Resort. A course designed by Arnold Palmer and voted best in the Lake Area in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Come golf, network and relax on the 13th and stay for The SUMMIT on the 14th.
#8 – Beautiful Lake of the Ozarks
Location, Location, Location! The SUMMIT is located at the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks in the middle of August. Vacation anyone? The SUMMIT is scheduled for August 14th from 9am to 4:30pm, leaving you plenty of time for recreation and fun. Shopping? Dining? Fishing? Join us for education and networking and leave some time for leisurely fun.

Need we say more? We are kicking off The SUMMIT with a pre-SUMMIT reception and barbeque. Join us Tuesday, August 13 at 6:30pm at Osage National Golf Resort for some good food and a great time.
When you register for The SUMMIT, you will automatically be prompted about attending the barbeque. Select “yes” and you are good to go!
#6 – M-R-E-C
We know you have questions for them. So we’re bringing them to you. Representatives from the Missouri Real Estate Commission (MREC) will be onsite at The SUMMIT to help answer your questions on compliance issues. Four little letters and one more big reason to attend The SUMMIT.

Yep, you read right. The top 3 digital real estate sites – all on one panel – discussing online listing portals. Now that is a reason to attend (actually three!). Sit in as Chris Crocker of Zillow, Ginger Wilcox of Trulia, and Curt Beardsley of REALTOR.com discuss the role of online listing portals today and in the future.
#3 – Power Broker Panel
If you attended the BrokerSummit last year, you are aware of the knowledge brokers can gain from an event like this. We have expanded upon last year’s event and made The SUMMIT even more significant. Don’t miss the Power Broker Panel featuring Howard Chung, John L. Scott Real Estate; Mike Hickman, Seven Gables Real Estate; John Smaby, Edina Realty; and Mike McGrew, McGrew Real Estate. This power panel will be moderated by Richard Mindenhall and is sure to give you strategies for peak performance.
