This month, we shine the spotlight on Dedra Nickell, a Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® (KCRAR) member whose leadership is rooted in service, advocacy, and a commitment to helping others succeed. As Team Leader of the Nickell Stellar Collective brokered by eXp Realty, Dedra has built her career around serving clients with integrity and professionalism while investing in the growth and development of fellow real estate professionals.
At the local level, Dedra is a highly engaged leader within KCRAR, serving on the Board of Directors and contributing to both the RPAC Committee and Heartland MLS Advisory Council. She is also deeply involved with the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Kansas City, currently serving as 2026 President-Elect and preparing to step into the role of 2027 President. Through these leadership positions, Dedra helps create opportunities for professional development, networking, and member engagement throughout the Kansas City real estate community.
At the state level, Dedra serves on the Missouri REALTORS® Board of Directors and contributes her expertise through several key groups, including the Grievance Committee, Residential Forms Committee, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. As a recipient of the Missouri REALTORS® Honor Society recognition, she exemplifies a strong commitment to professional excellence, industry service, and advancing the REALTOR® profession.
Beyond organized real estate, Dedra is passionate about leadership development and community involvement. She currently serves as President of BNI Summit Climbers and as Community Service Chair for the Sunrise Rotary Club, reflecting her dedication to building meaningful connections and creating opportunities for others to grow and succeed. Her participation in REALTOR® advocacy efforts at the national level further demonstrates her commitment to protecting private property rights and strengthening the future of the industry.
