This month, we shine the spotlight on Kayla Johnson, a St. Louis REALTORS® member whose leadership is defined by advocacy, education, and a deep commitment to inclusivity. Known for her collaborative approach and passion for empowering others, Kayla has built a strong presence at the local, state, and national levels of the REALTOR® organization.
At the local level, Kayla has been deeply involved with St. Louis REALTORS®, serving as Secretary, a member of the Executive Committee, and as Chair of the Young Professionals Network (YPN) Advisory Board. Her leadership extends across numerous committees, including Strategic Planning, Awards, and Political Action, where she has helped shape member engagement and advocacy initiatives.
A graduate of the St. Louis REALTORS® and Missouri REALTORS® Leadership Academy, Kayla is dedicated to mentorship and fostering growth among fellow REALTORS®. At the state level, she serves as a State Director for Missouri REALTORS® and previously chaired the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, championing equitable housing practices and professional development opportunities across the state.
Nationally, Kayla remains actively engaged with the National Association of REALTORS®, currently serving on the Diversity Committee and previously contributing to both the Housing Opportunities Committee and YPN Advisory Board. As a national speaker and industry thought leader, she shares her expertise on fair housing, leadership, and the future of real estate.
Beyond organized real estate, Kayla is a passionate advocate for autism awareness and support, using her voice to promote greater understanding, accessibility, and inclusivity for families navigating developmental differences. This personal mission has further strengthened her commitment to compassionate leadership and housing equity within the industry.
