COLUMBIA, MISSOURI – Missouri REALTORS® is pleased to announce Peggy Albers of Lake Ozark, Missouri, has been named the recipient of the 2025 Missouri Good Neighbor Award. The announcement was made during the Missouri REALTORS® Winter Business Conference in Springfield, MO.
Awarded annually since 2011, the Missouri Good Neighbor Award recognizes a Missouri REALTOR® who demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to volunteer service and community engagement. Each year, the recipient receives a $2,500 donation for their designated charity.
Albers was recognized for her service to Women Overcoming Obstacles, Inc. (WOO), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women to overcome barriers and seize new opportunities. WOO provides a safe and inclusive environment for women transitioning from challenging circumstances, including incarceration, abusive relationships, or new independence.
Through personalized programs, mentorship, and strong community engagement, WOO equips women with the tools, confidence, and resilience needed to achieve self‑sufficiency and long‑term success. The organization is committed to fostering growth, hope, and opportunity for every woman it serves.
Peggy Albers has been a passionate advocate and supporter of Women Overcoming Obstacles, dedicating her time and resources to advancing the organization’s mission and positively impacting the lives of women throughout the community.
