COLUMBIA, MISSOURI – Missouri REALTORS® throughout the state participated in the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) 2025 REALTOR® Volunteer Days, May 10-18. 550 REALTORS® participated in the REALTORS® Are Good Neighbors nationwide philanthropic initiative while maximizing the impact of their volunteer time. This exciting initiative reached over 13,000 Missouri residents.
Across the state, Missouri REALTORS® participated in over 45 activities for REALTOR® Volunteer Days. "Living in a small town is something that I cherish about my life and the career I have created in real estate. To be able to promote something as important as our downtown square in Clinton, MO, the town I love so much, is an amazing feeling." said Emily Burke, REALTOR® with Golden Valley Realty Group. "The square is the Hub for our town and something that I always want to share with clients looking to move to Clinton, so any time promoting this organization and what they do for our community is time well spent in my opinion!"
Volunteer activities consisted of serving meals at local charities, walking dogs at the local humane society, cleaning city streets, assisting with humanitarian initiatives, and much more. "It takes a village and together we can make a real difference in serving our community." said Michelle Pointer, REALTOR® with Central Missouri Board of REALTORS® .
"Giving back to the communities we serve is at the heart of what we do" said Jennifer Cox, REALTOR® with ICONIC Real Estate Group. "Missouri REALTOR® Volunteer Week is a powerful reminder that real estate is about people first—building neighborhoods, strengthening connections, and showing up for one another."
To encourage involvement, Missouri REALTORS® hosted a campaign providing REALTORS® Are Good Neighbors t-shirts to groups of members participating in a REALTOR® Volunteer Days activity May 10 - 18. Members were encouraged to wear their shirts while volunteering and share photos of their activity.
