This month, we shine the spotlight on Tyra Buchanan from St. Louis REALTORS®. As a passionate and purpose-driven real estate professional, Tyra embodies the integrity and commitment that drive success in both personal and professional realms.
With nearly a decade in the industry, Tyra has distinguished herself as a leader and mentor who serves at every level of the real estate profession. Her extensive involvement with Missouri REALTORS® includes service on multiple state committees, including the Professional Standards Committee, Inclusion Advisory Group, and Strategic Planning Committee.
Her leadership extends nationally as a mentor with the NAR Spire Mentorship Program, where she provides mentees with one-on-one guidance, in-person networking advice, and a personalized perspective. Locally, Tyra is an alumna of the St. Louis REALTORS® Leadership Academy and currently serves as a Board Member for the St. Louis REALTORS® Association.
Tyra's community engagement is equally impressive. She is the founder of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on healing through art and community development, serves with ElevateSTL as a mentee and liaison, and is actively involved with Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) on their DEI Committee. Her participation in the McKinsey Black Leadership Academy demonstrates her commitment to continuous growth and development.
