Missouri REALTORS® are more than just real estate professionals. They are community leaders, educators, volunteers, and philanthropists who make a meaningful impact in their local areas and beyond. Our Leadership Spotlight series aims to celebrate these dedicated members and highlight their incredible contributions to both the real estate industry and their communities.

This month, Missouri REALTORS® is proud to shine the Leadership Spotlight on Isabelle Jimenez Walker from the Greater Springfield Board of REALTORS®. As a 2017 graduate of the Missouri REALTORS® Leadership Academy and with over 15 years of membership with the association, Isabelle has a remarkable resume of leadership and service.

At the local level, Isabelle is an advocate for both community development and REALTOR® initiatives. She’s been an active participant in the Realtors Helping People program since 1996. Since 2007, she’s served on her local board’s RPAC and Community Development/Outreach Committees. Additionally, her local leadership roles include serving as MLS President in 2018, SOMO Director from 2018 to 2020, and as a State Director for multiple terms.

At the state level, Isabelle is involved in important initiatives and has held a number of leadership roles. Since 2021, she has been an active member of the Missouri REALTORS® Educational Foundation, a group dedicated to providing educational resources for youth and adults statewide. She will further her commitment as MREF Chair in 2025. As a Missouri REALTORS® LANDING Ambassador since 2017, she has also played an important role in advancing the Association’s communication and member engagement efforts.

Isabelle’s leadership within Missouri REALTORS® includes serving as the 2022 Diversity and Inclusion Committee Chair and the 2021 Bylaws and Policy Committee Vice-Chair. Additionally, she has been a member of the Professional Standards Committee for 10 years and was selected to attend the 2024 NAR Mediation Training in Chicago.

Nationally, Isabelle has made quite the impact. As a member of NAR’s Fair Housing Policy Committee in 2024, Isabelle champions important housing issues. She has served on the Land Use and Environment Committee, Housing Opportunities Committee, and Conventional Housing Committee. From 2020 to 2022, Isabelle served as a NAR Director. In 2025, she will continue her leadership as a member of the NAR Public Policy Coordinating Committee.

Isabelle is also a prominent leader in the Women’s Council of REALTORS®. At the state level, she served as the Missouri Women’s Council of REALTORS® President in 2016 and was honored as the Member of the Year in 2017. In 2025, she will step into the role of State Liaison. Her influence extends nationally, where she will continue to make an impact as a member of the 2025 National Women’s Council of REALTORS® Governing Board. She was also recognized as the National WCR Region 3 Vice President in 2019.

Outside of real estate, Isabelle is deeply committed to the difference she makes in her community. She serves as a City of Springfield Housing Authority Board Commissioner and plays an active role in the Springfield NAACP. Isabelle also volunteers her time with Springfield Rotary North, where she served as President in 2022-2023, and the Community Partnership of the Ozarks, where she co-chairs housing advocacy and blighted property workgroups.

Isabelle has been recognized as an industry and community leader with numerous awards, including the 2023 RPAC Hall of Fame, the 2018 Ozarks Alliance to End Homelessness Corbel Award, and the 2009 GSBOR Broker of the Year award. She has also been celebrated for her community leadership with accolades like the GSBOR Margaret Martin Cooperative Spirit Award and the SBJ 20 Most Influential Women honor in 2011.

Missouri REALTORS® is proud to celebrate Isabelle Jimenez Walker’s dedication to her profession, her community, and her peers. Her leadership, service, and advocacy continue to leave a lasting impact on this association, the real estate industry and beyond.
