Election Day is fast approaching, and this is an opportunity for Missouri REALTORS
® to make a profound impact on the real estate industry. Voting up and down the ballot is essential to ensure we’re represented at all levels of government, from city councils to state offices. After all, many of the decisions that most affect our clients, businesses, and communities are made at the local level, where issues like zoning, property taxes, and housing regulations are decided. As champions of the American Dream of homeownership, our collective vote is one of the most powerful tools we have to shape the future of real estate in Missouri.

Missouri REALTORS® can access a list of REALTOR® Party Champions by logging in here. Supporting these candidates is one way to ensure our profession and clients’ interests are represented at every level of government. You can also check out the 2024 Ballot Measures, as well as the Missouri REALTORS® General Policies Guide as you prepare for Election Day.

And in terms of preparation, it's very important to go into Election Day with a voting plan. Here are some steps to consider:

  1. Research Local Candidates and Issues: Knowing who and what is on the ballot allows you to make an informed decision. Look for candidates who support REALTOR® values and advocate for property rights and community growth.

  2. Know Your Voting Options: Depending on your schedule and preferences, you may want to vote early, absentee, or in person on Election Day. Decide on the best option for you and make note of the voting hours and locations if you plan to vote in person.

  3. Encourage Your Colleagues and Clients: As a trusted resource in your community, you have the opportunity to inspire others to participate. Encourage your network to have a voting plan, research their local races, and get involved to help protect homeownership.

As REALTORS
®, we’re advocates for our clients and our communities. Voting gives us the opportunity to support leaders up and down the ballot who prioritize the future of real estate and homeownership, which strengthens the market and fosters a vibrant community for everyone. By casting your ballot thoughtfully and supporting REALTOR® Party Champions, you’re contributing to a strong future in your local community, Missouri, and the United States.

In Taney County and across Missouri they are encouraging early voting at the local court houses due to an expected largest turn out in voting history. We voted last Friday and there was a steady stream of voters that went very quickly.  Know your ballot amendments and do your part for Missouri and our Country!
