Columbia, Missouri – Brenda Oliver of Odessa, Missouri, has been named recipient of the Missouri REALTORS® 2024 Richard A. Mendenhall Award.
Richard A. Mendenhall, a past president of Missouri REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®, has been a role model for REALTORS® at the local, state, and national levels throughout his entire career. This award recognizes an individual who, through career-long contributions, exemplifies Richard’s leadership skills, commitment to service, and enthusiastic “spirit”.
Oliver received this award on Wednesday, September 25 during the Missouri REALTORS® Fall Business Conference.
As a licensed REALTOR® for more than four decades, Oliver continues to be active in the real estate industry at the local, state, and national levels, serving as a state director and on a multitude of boards and committees. She served as President of the Missouri Women’s Council of REALTORS® in 2003, as President of the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® in 2008, and as President of Missouri REALTORS® in 2019. In 2022, Oliver served as the National Association of REALTORS® Region IX Vice President.
Oliver has been a REALTOR® Party Action Committee (RPAC) Major Investor since 2007, a President’s Circle member since 2016, a Platnum R major investor since 2017, and is an RPAC Lifetime Trustee. She currently serves as a State Policitical Coordinator for District 53 Missouri State Representative Terry Thompson.
