Missouri REALTORS®,

A historic primary election concluded yesterday after a year and a half of nonstop jockeying by hundreds of candidates – and many millions of dollars spent.  The REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) supported candidates across various races, up and down the ballot from Governor to county assessor. Our investments contributed to numerous significant victories, reflecting the strength of our collective efforts and the influence of our #REALTORParty.

Most notably, we are thrilled to share that two pivotal races resulted in the #REALTORChampion candidate emerging victorious – Mike Kehoe for Governor in the Republican primary and Wesley Bell for Missouri’s 1st Congressional seat in the Democratic primary. While both must still win their respective general elections, we believe they give REALTORS® and Missourians alike better options for leading and representing our great state.

Key Highlights

REALTORS® Win:
72% of REALTORS® who ran for office this cycle won their races!

State House Races:
We are delighted to announce that 96% of the state house candidates RPAC supported emerged victorious. This overwhelming success underscores our effective strategy and the alignment of our values with those of the voters.

State Senate Races: In the state senate races, 69% of our #REALTORChampion candidates won their contests. This strong showing ensures that our priorities will be well-represented in Missouri’s most deliberative body.

Statewide Races: For statewide offices, 50% of our preferred candidates were successful. These victories are crucial in shaping policies that impact the real estate industry and our communities across Missouri.

Looking Ahead

We are excited about the positive impact these election results will have on our industry and the broader community. Our #REALTORParty victories mean that we will have strong advocates who understand the importance of real estate to Missouri's economy and the significance of private property rights as we head into the November general election.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and our appreciation to all who stepped forth but fell short. We would also like to express our gratitude to you, our members, for your unwavering support and engagement. Together, we are making a difference.

We look forward to supporting more candidates in the November general election and working across partisan lines to advance the #REALTORParty mission. If you would like to play a role in advocating for REALTOR® issues, please keep an eye out for information regarding applications for the State Political Coordinator (SPC) and Federal Political Coordinator (FPC) programs.
