Columbia, Missouri – Missouri REALTORS®, the state’s largest trade association representing over 26,000 members, is pleased to announce the installation of Derek Schriewer of Washington, MO., as 2024 President.
On Wednesday, January 17, Missouri REALTORS® honored Schriewer, along with Women’s Council of REALTORS® President Gerrie Moore, during an installation banquet at the Winter Business Conference in St. Louis. With nearly 400 guests present, Joyce Thomas, the 2011 President of Missouri REALTORS®, was in attendance to install Schriewer for this special occasion.
“What an honor it is to be the 2024 Missouri REALTORS® President, and with the prestige of this role comes both responsibility and expectations, which I acknowledge both humbly and dutifully,” said Schriewer. “I am truly looking forward to serving our association and representing our incredible members across this great state of Missouri.”
Born and raised in Washington, Missouri, Schriewer is a proud second-generation REALTOR®. He was named the 2012 REALTOR® Salesperson of the Year for the Franklin County Board of REALTORS® and serves on various local, state, and national REALTOR® committees, including his role as a member of the National Association of REALTORS® MLS Committee through 2024. In 2019, Derek served as President of the Franklin County Board of REALTORS® as well as President of the Missouri REALTORS® Educational Foundation. In 2022, he served as chair of the MARIS MLS.
To govern Missouri REALTORS®, Schriewer will serve alongside President-Elect Bobbi Howe, Treasurer Brian Jared, Treasurer-Elect Brent Sager, and Immediate Past President Andrea Sheridan, along with association CEO Breanna Vanstrom. These officials comprise the 2024 Leadership Team and each, with the exception of the CEO, serves a one-year term on a volunteer basis.
