Beverly Taki - Leadership Spotlight

Missouri REALTORS® are so much more than just real estate professionals. They dedicate their time to serving on school boards and running for elected positions. They educate, serve on panels, volunteer and facilitate industry discussions. Their philanthropic efforts are inspiring, and the difference they are making within their communities is significant. Our Leadership Spotlight series highlights these efforts and introduces some of our wonderful members.

This month, we are shining the Leadership Spotlight on Beverly Taki.

Beverly Taki, a REALTOR® with Beverly Taki Realty, is a valued member of the St. Louis community. She actively engages in community service initiatives and serves on a number of professional committees. We applaud Beverly for her commitment to personal and professional development, as well as her steadfast support of RPAC initiatives and the industry at large.

At Missouri REALTORS®, we are lucky to witness Beverly's dedication to the real estate industry firsthand. Beverly has participated on various committees and taken on leadership roles, exemplified by her service as the Advocacy Committee Chair in 2021.

When it comes to advocacy, Beverly consistently lends her support to diverse RPAC initiatives, generously giving her time and investments. Beverly will serve as an RPAC-MO Trustee through 2024. In this role, she will work with fellow trustees to identify REALTOR® Champions who will advocate for the Missouri REALTOR® Party.

Furthermore, as an RPAC Major Investor, she prioritizes supporting candidates who champion REALTOR®-friendly causes in the state. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Beverly was inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame in 2022.

She has also served as a State Political Coordinator. SPCs are selected REALTOR® members who play an important role in the grassroots advocacy efforts of Missouri REALTORS®. Each member who serves as an SPC is matched with a member of the Missouri legislature with whom they will cultivate a relationship and educate on issues important to the real estate industry and private property rights. Beverly enjoys meeting with her legislator in the district to share the Missouri REALTOR® talking points and seeking their support for our issues.

Beverly is a member of the Missouri REALTORS® Risk Management Committee, as well as the Professional Standards Committee.  She especially enjoys participating on ethics panels as it helps her learn and grow by hearing the disputes that happen within the industry. Beverly graduated from Pepperdine School of Law in the Dispute Resolution program. She had the vision that mediation and arbitration were going to be future needs in the real estate industry. She wanted to use her wealth of knowledge as a Broker to help others resolve their disputes.

Furthermore, Beverly is a member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®. While she takes pleasure in the connections she has forged with fellow members in the St. Louis Metropolitan network, she also values the opportunity to gain insights from members in networks throughout the entire state. Women's Council identifies, supports, and promotes the development of strong business leaders in the industry, organized real estate, and the broader community.  This is a group of accomplished REALTORS® who are leaders in both the real estate industry and their communities. She looks forward to greater participation with the St. Louis network in 2024.

In her pursuit of professional growth, Beverly has achieved her C2EX Commitment to Excellence Endorsement, earned the At Home with Diversity® certification, and successfully navigated the Fairhaven simulation. Each of these programs is designed to strengthen one’s dedication to promoting fair housing, showcasing Beverly's commitment to the continued improvement of the real estate industry.

Beverly's commitment to community improvement is also truly remarkable. In St. Louis, Beverly has supported the Ronald McDonald House, where she volunteers as a food preparer and server. The Ronald McDonald House program allows parents who are far from home to stay close to their hospitalized child without incurring hotel and food costs.

Her dedication doesn't stop there—Beverly is a significant supporter of The BackStoppers®, an organization that provides ongoing financial assistance and support to the spouses and children of police officers, firefighters, volunteer firefighters, and publicly-funded paramedics and EMTs who have lost their lives or suffered a catastrophic injury in the line of duty.

Beverly Taki is more than a REALTOR®—she's an outstanding leader committed to elevating her industry, her professional skills, and her community well-being. Whether contributing to Association committees or volunteering for a number of worthy causes, Beverly's dedication is commendable. At Missouri REALTORS®, we celebrate her hard work and look forward to her continued positive impact.
