Columbia, Missouri – Larry Kolb of Jefferson City, Missouri, has been named recipient of the Missouri REALTORS® 2023 R. Layne Morrill Award.
R. Layne Morrill, a past president of Missouri REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®, was active in politics at the local, state, and national levels throughout his entire career as a REALTOR®. This award recognizes an individual who, through career-long political involvement, has significantly advanced the legislative agenda of REALTORS® in Missouri.
Kolb received this award on Wednesday, September 20 during the Missouri REALTORS® Fall Business Conference.
Serving as a member of Missouri REALTORS® since 1973, Kolb has continuously advocated for the American Dream of homeownership and property rights. In addition to his extensive community involvement, Kolb served as a Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce member and as the Civic Progress Committee chairman from 2014 through 2022. He has also been an RPAC Major Investor since 2011 and a President’s Circle member since 2016. Kolb was inducted into the National Association of REALTORS® RPAC Hall of Fame in 2021.
Kolb is a 2005 recipient of the Missouri REALTORS® Richard A. Mendenhall Award and a 2019 recipient of the Jefferson City Area Board of REALTORS® Community Achievement Award.
