Every Missouri REALTOR® has a unique story to tell, and our Member Spotlight series is our chance to share the stories behind the REALTORS®.
This month, we are shining the Member Spotlight on Bud Jones.
Bud Jones, a REALTOR® based in Nixa, Missouri, holds prominent roles within his local association, the Greater Springfield Board of REALTORS®. Bud is the VP of his local board, a state director, and the vice chair of the board’s property management section. He enjoys these positions because they allow him to give back to both his local organization and Missouri REALTORS® as a whole. Bud uses his platform to help raise the level of professionalism within the industry.
Bud is a passionate REALTOR® today, but he didn’t always work in the real estate industry. He was a builder for more than 30 years and even spent time as a pastor at a local church. Bud jumped into real estate after his experience with Springfield REALTOR® Randy Fry. It’s not every day that clients turn into colleagues, but when it happens, it’s very special.
In his free time, Bud enjoys giving back to his community through Convoy of Hope, the Nixa Rotary Club, and Habitat for Humanity. And at the end of a long week, Bud loves to watch Star Trek reruns over and over.
