Missouri REALTORS® are not only real estate professionals, they’re so much more. They dedicate their time to serving on school boards, in elected positions and volunteering their time to make communities a better place to be. They’re educators, serving on panels and facilitating industry discussions. Their philanthropic efforts are inspiring and the difference they are making within their communities is significant. Our Member Spotlight series highlights these efforts and introduces some of our wonderful members!
This month, we are shining the Member Spotlight on Ralph Williams.
Ralph Williams, a member of the South Central Board of REALTORS®, is a dedicated REALTOR® and broker based in Rolla. He is also a member of the Rolla Lions Club, where he has volunteered his time for more than seven years. He’s currently on the Board of Directors for the organization, as well as the Carnival Committee.
Lions Club International is on a mission to serve. It empowers volunteers to serve their communities, and with 48,000 local chapters and 1.4 million members, the organization is able to give back to a wide variety of people.
The Rolla Lions Club has been serving Missouri since 1935. Its biggest fundraiser of the year is the carnival. The carnival is held each year over the Fourth of July, and it’s the primary fundraising event for the organization. In 2019, Ralph was the chairman of the event, and thanks to his leadership it was a huge success. They money raised helps the organization to serve Rolla residents and keep up the Rolla Lions Club Park.
Ralph is driven to help people each and every day. The Rolla Lions Club gives him that opportunity.
