Missouri REALTORS® are not only real estate professionals, they’re so much more. They dedicate their time to serving on school boards, in elected positions and volunteering their time to make communities a better place to be. They’re educators, serving on panels and facilitating industry discussions. Their philanthropic efforts are inspiring and the difference they are making within their communities is significant. Our Member Spotlight series highlights these efforts and introduces some of our wonderful members!
This month, we are shining the Member Spotlight on Cynthia (Cindy) Blosser.
Cindy Blosser, a member of the Jefferson City Area Board of REALTORS®, has been diligently volunteering with the Jefferson City Area YMCA since 1984. The YMCA works to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities across the country.
Cindy has seen the Jefferson City YMCA grow from one branch to four branch locations, and as the YMCA expands, so does her involvement. Cindy spends more than 150 hours each year to the YMCA, and she’s personally raised $20,000 for the organization. She’s even part of the Y-USA membership standards committee, which enables her to volunteer for the organization at a national level. As part of her volunteer work with the Y-USA, Cindy travels to Chicago twice a year for meetings.
Cindy has a heart for both education and health advocation, which is why she loves working with the YMCA. With the YMCA, Cindy is involved in programs that build healthy spirits, minds and bodies. She also gets to spend quality time with a diverse group of people, much like she does in her real estate career.
If you’re in the community spotlight or know someone who is, let us know. We’d love to shine our Missouri REALTORS® Spotlight on you!
