What an amazing turnout at Capitol Conference, the January Business Conference and all the other events in Jefferson City. So many of you traveled against the elements to get to Jefferson City, but I know we made an impact on the Hill. We had an incredible kick-off of our ballot initiative campaign and two great days of committee meetings, district briefings and our Board of Directors meeting. And, of course, let’s not forget another wildly fun RPAC Trivia Night.
Congratulations to Brenda Oliver, our 2017 Treasurer, to Jim Gamble on his election as Region IX Vice President for 2018, and to Paul Dizmang and Sean Moore, who were elected to represent Missouri as 2017-’19 NAR Directors. They are all passionate ambassadors for our Association and will serve Missouri REALTORS® well. And thanks to everyone who participated in our first Candidates Forum, and to La Nora Kay for being such a wonderful moderator.
It was gratifying to have so many first-time attendees during the week. We look forward to them becoming ‘repeat attendees’ and encouraging more ‘first-timers’ at conferences and other events to come. The successful infusion of new activists will help ensure that Missouri REALTORS® will continue to be The Voice for Real Estate for many years to come.
