As your 2025 President, I’m proud to share some exciting highlights from our recent Spring Business Conference, held in Columbia. The event welcomed over 400 REALTORS® from across the state, bringing us together to connect, collaborate, and grow as we embrace this season of opportunity.
Held from April 29 to May 1, this year’s conference offered a dynamic mix of governance meetings, educational sessions, and networking events. We kicked things off with an Open House at Missouri REALTORS® Headquarters on Monday evening—a great way to welcome attendees and showcase our beautiful space.
Throughout the week, members participated in Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) courses, the Missouri Women’s Council of REALTORS® business meeting, and the lively Show Me the Network Mixer. Our Networking Roundtables also sparked meaningful conversations and new ideas.
The Opening General Session featured a powerful keynote by Dan O’Dell, a proud leader of one of Kansas City’s top-performing real estate teams. [Watch the Opening General Session.]
One of the most impactful sessions was the Emerging Issues Forum on Homeowners Insurance. We tackled timely challenges around rising premiums and shifting coverage options—issues affecting both our clients and our industry. [Watch the full Forum and download the visual presentation.]
Of course, no conference is complete without a little fun. This year’s RPAC event, the “PAC the 80s” Robert W. Borgmann RPAC Auction, was a totally bodacious night! Thanks to your incredible generosity and commitment to advocacy, we raised over $106,000 for the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC).
As we move forward through 2025, I remain inspired by our theme, "Handle Hard Better." It’s a reminder that our strength doesn’t come from avoiding challenges, but from rising to meet them—together.
Thank you for your continued dedication to our profession. Stay engaged with Missouri REALTORS® for updates on upcoming events, new initiatives, and opportunities to lead.
Bobbi Howe
