Fun, Networking and the Future of Online Real Estate

Last year, we held our first BrokerSummit in Columbia.  This first time event, tailored to the educational needs of brokers, was a huge success.  So, when we started planning this year's event, we asked why only brokers?  Why not bring agents into the mix while retaining the specific content that brokers were looking for?  Well, I think we did it.

The SUMMIT, the Missouri REALTORS education and networking event of the year, will take place on August 14, 2013 at the Lake of the Ozarks.   The speaker and topic content is outstanding and features areas of interest in separate educational tracks for both brokers and agents including sales and management skills, legal and risk management, legislative updates and some of the latest technology tips and tricks.

Much is happening in the world of online real estate and we will have executives from Zillow, Trulia and REALTOR.com participating on a panel discussion that looks at your world today and tomorrow and how listing portals play in that world.  The discussion could be even more interesting depending upon what the NAR Board of Directors might do on July 24 in connection with NAR's relationship with REALTOR.com.  REALTORS who want to stay ahead of the curve won't miss this!

To add to the fun, the 16th annual Larry Crookshanks RPAC golf tournament will be held the day prior to the Summit (August 13) at the beautiful and challenging Osage National Golf Course.  Immediately following golf, all SUMMIT attendees are invited to a complimentary reception and BBQ to rub shoulders with REALTORS from across the state and to set the stage for what should be an exciting day of learning at the SUMMIT

All the details can be accessed here.  We have also set up a separate website for the event that will include up to date content and information leading up to the SUMMIT.  You will want to check back often to get the latest info.

There is just one challenge.  Space is limited and those who wait to sign up may lose out on this tremendous opportunity.  So, sign up now to secure your spot in what will surely be the education event of the year!

See you at the Lake!
