It sure feels like a lot longer than three months ago that we met in St. Charles for our April Business Conference. I’ll get over that because I know that registration has opened for our September Business Conference at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach. And looking at the schedule once again I know there’s plenty to keep everyone busy during the conference.
The second Commercial Day of 2016 takes place from 10am to 3pm on Wednesday, and WCR conducts its business meeting in the afternoon, followed by our Opening General Session. Wednesday’s events will be capped off by Inaugural Night, as we honor Ryan Gattermeir and Deana Wolfe as incoming 2017 President of Missouri REALTORS® and the Missouri Chapter of Women’s Council of REALTORS®, respectively. The night includes a reception prior to the Inaugural Dinner and Installation, and then a special concert, featuring Jake Simpson, and fireworks by the lake. Sound like fun?
Besides Thursday’s typical schedule of education (including a Lunch & Learn and a CE opportunity) and Output Group/Committee Meetings, the schedule also includes our Annual Meeting and two RPAC events, the Capitol Club Reception and a Mini-Golf Scramble, Puttin’ for RPAC. The week concludes with District Briefings and the Missouri REALTORS® Board of Directors meeting on Friday.
Yes, that is an action-packed schedule. A lot of business will be conducted, a lot of hugs and laughs will be shared, and we will have a ton of fun!
I look forward to seeing a huge crowd each day, and look forward to SEEING YOU at Tan-Tar-A. September 14-16. Make sure you register for many of the events, and invite a friend to come along for the experience (if they have never been encourage them to apply for a scholarship!).
