Lake of the Ozarks
The affordable, family-friendly Lake area offers activities for everyone of any age. There are plenty of fun activities for kids and adults to enjoy: playing championship golf, fishing for bass or crappie, visiting wineries and art galleries, relaxing at a soothing spa and everything in between. From high cliffs to underground caves, the Lake outdoors puts you in touch with nature. The shimmering Lake is the centerpiece of a vibrant region with The Lodge of Four Seasons centrally located and convenient to all there’s to see and do while on vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks.
We all know when you travel you ask the locals where to go and what to do. To be sure you don't miss a thing, we asked Lake of the Ozarks REALTORS® for their recommendations:
- Wobbly Boots: Great food, wonderful bloody mary's, great selection of beers, reasonably priced food, lots of TV's, live music on some nights & weekends
- On the Rise Bakery & Woodfired Bistro: Amazing breakfast & lunch, fancy coffee & adult beverages, more pricey than regular breakfast places but I think it's worth it. Great bakery items
- Ha Ha Tonka State Park: Lots of hiking trails, all levels from beginner to strenuous, beautiful lake views, picnic areas, Missouri's 12 largest spring, sinkholes, caves, rock formations and interesting history of the Castle and Camden County. When I was growing up it was privately owned and we had fun times roaming the castle ruins and the trails and swimming in the Spring. (Not allowed anymore)
