Leadership Spotlight Denise Pittman

Missouri REALTORS® are so much more than just real estate professionals. They dedicate their time to serving on school boards and running for elected positions. They educate, serve on panels, volunteer and facilitate industry discussions. Their philanthropic efforts are inspiring, and the difference they are making within their communities is significant. Our Leadership Spotlight series highlights these efforts and introduces some of our wonderful members.

This month, we are shining the Leadership Spotlight on Nancy Gratz.

Nancy Gratz, a Missouri REALTOR® and valued member of the Jefferson City, MO community, hails from Gratz Real Estate and Auctioneering, LLC. Aside from her notable dedication to our association and the real estate industry at large, Nancy actively contributes her time to a number of volunteer organizations.

For one, Nancy volunteers with United Way, a renowned nonprofit organization with a mission to improve lives and communities. Their overarching goal is to address critical social issues and create lasting change in areas such as education, health and financial stability. United Way focuses on identifying the most pressing needs within communities and then collaborates with local partners, businesses and volunteers to develop innovative solutions.

Volunteers like Nancy play a vital role in the success of United Way's mission. By investing her time and energy into the organization, Nancy makes a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families facing adversity in her local community.

In her role as a REALTOR®, Nancy demonstrates her dedication to the American Dream of homeownership by actively engaging in local and state affairs. At the local level, Nancy serves on multiple committees within her board. Furthermore, she has contributed her expertise to the Commercial Forms Output Group and Residential Forms Output Group of the Missouri REALTORS® association. Also at the state level, Nancy was named a recipient of the 2021 Honor Society award.
Nancy has been recognized by Zonta, the Jefferson City Jaycees and the Chamber. She also serves on the Community Breast Cancer Project, which donates thousands of dollars a year to breast cancer patients. Most recently, Nancy received the William W. Quigg Chamber Award for her lifetime leadership and commitment to Jefferson City.

Politically, Nancy is a major investor in the REALTOR® Political Action Committee. Major investors provide significant financial support to RPAC, enabling strategic campaigns and initiatives that protect property rights, promote affordable housing and advance fair housing policies.

We celebrate Nancy for her unwavering commitment to her community and industry. Whether she’s strengthening her local REALTOR® association, raising funds for RPAC or volunteering her time with the local United Way chapter, Nancy consistently demonstrates her passion for making a positive impact. She is an invaluable asset to both her community and the real estate industry.
