Fun February Events Across Missouri

The February Funk. We’re all familiar. It's when the days are short but the weeks are long. We’re well past the excitement of the holidays, spring is still out of grasp and many of us have already broken our New Year’s Resolutions. February is tough, to say the least.

But not to fear! Lucky for us, there are a plethora of events, shows, and exhibits that will fill your February with FUN. Not to mention, as Missouri REALTORS®, it's important that we experience all of the wonderful things our state has to offer! Here’s a list of events from Kansas City to St. Louis and in between that just might fix your February Funk.

2023 KC Brew Fest Kansas City | February 25
The KC Brew Fest brings together dozens of craft and international breweries, as well as KC’s best local breweries. The event will take place at historic Union Station, and will feature over 45 breweries, 120 beers, music, and food. *All attendees must be 21 and over.

International Photography Hall of Fame Fall Photo Contest Exhibition St. Louis | Through February 11
The 2022 IPHF Fall Photo Contest Exhibition is open and will run through February 11 at the International Photography Hall of Fame in the Grand Center Arts District in St. Louis. Entries came in from 137 photographic artists from thirty states, the United Kingdom and Europe with over 500 images submitted.

Truman Lake Fishing Expo Clinton | February 11 and 12
The expo on February 11 from 10am - 7pm and February 12 from 8am - 5pm features bait shops, fishing guides, rods and reels, boats, kayaks, seminars, guest speakers and more. There will be a chance to win prizes, talk to fishing professionals, grab something to eat, find out about the Truman Lake area and more.

Winter Music Series Ste. Genevieve | Starting February 10
Starting February 10, the Ste. Genevieve Chamber of Commerce Winter Music Series presents seven weeks of Friday nights filled with cover bands playing to a packed crowd at the classic Orris Theater.

11th Annual Heart of the Ozarks Half Marathon West Plains | February 18
Run in one of the 11th Annual Heart of the Ozarks Half Marathon running events - a 2.5 mile, a 10k, a 13.1 mile and 13.1 mile relay. They offer a great course, amazing support, beautiful medals and tasty post-race food.

Clark Terry Jazz Festival Cape Girardeau | February 3 and February 4 
The Clark Terry Jazz Festival showcases excellent student musicians and artists from around the nation. This year’s culminating event, the Women in Jazz Gala Concert, will be presented by the Southeast Jazz Ensembles and guest artist Sharel Cassity. This concert will feature all women composers and arrangers. 

Missouri ComicCon Springfield | February 11 and February 12
Missouri Comic Convention is a two-day event being held at the Springfield Expo Center and will bring together a diverse list of guests, vendors, artists and fan groups, in an affordable, family-friendly environment.

Hot Winter Fun Big Show Branson | February 25
Shows and Performers appearing in the 29th Annual Hot Winter Fun Big Show include Legends In Concert, Stevie Lee Woods and the Nashville Roadhouse Band, Best of Motown, and more. VIP Balcony Seating is available which includes lunch and a cash bar.

The King’s Ball Ste. Genevieve | February 4
The annual King’s Ball is a French-inspired celebration of music and dancing that has been held in historic Ste. Genevieve for more than 50 years. This year’s ball takes place on February 4 from 6pm - 11pm. Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress in French Colonial costume. Proceeds from the King’s Ball benefit the Ste. Genevieve Museum and the Foundation for Restoration of Ste Genevieve.
