Missouri REALTORS® are so much more than real estate professionals. They dedicate their time to serving on school boards and running for elected positions. They educate, serve on panels, volunteer, and facilitate industry discussions. Their philanthropic efforts are inspiring, and the difference they are making within their communities is significant. Our Member Spotlight series highlights these efforts and introduces some of our wonderful members.
This month, we are highlighting St. Louis REALTORS® member Edwina Conley. As a member of Missouri REALTORS® for more than 30 years, Conley, a REALTOR® with Integrity Realty and Associates, has proven her dedication to the real estate profession by volunteering her time to numerous boards and committees, including her distinct passion for consumer education within the real estate industry.
At the state level, Conley serves as a member of the Missouri REALTORS® Executive Committee. Tasked with overseeing affairs of the State Association in accordance with the policies outlined by the Board of Directors, Conley proudly serves as a sounding board for the CEO on emerging issues, problems, and initiatives. She also serves as a member of the Advocacy Mission Committee and Strategic Planning Committee, among numerous other Output Groups. Locally, Conley serves as Secretary of the St. Charles County Municipal League and as a Weldon Spring Alderwomen. She was Missouri REALTORS® 2016 REALTOR® of the Year award recipient.
Noting her passion for real estate consumer education, Conley serves as not only a Trustee of the Missouri REALTORS® Educational Foundation (MREF) but also as this year’s MREF President. Focused on providing educational resources for youth and adults in Missouri, Conley has been instrumental in the development and implementation of real estate education programs throughout the state.
Most recently, Conley oversaw the redesign and development of It’s Your Move, a real estate consumer education course designed to educate students on topics related to consumer credit, renting, buying and selling a home. Through a series of videos, case studies and interactive quizzes, students are able to gain knowledge of these processes as they transition from high school to the next steps of their life.
