Columbia, Missouri – Missouri REALTORS®, the state’s largest trade association representing over 25,000 members, is pleased to announce the election of Brian R. Jared of Rogersville, Mo., as 2024 Treasurer. Jared was elected to this position during a Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, September 22.
As 2024 Treasurer, Jared will serve as 2023 Treasurer-Elect beginning January 1. “Thank you [association membership] for the honor of letting me serve you as a member of the Missouri REALTORS® Leadership Team,” said Jared. “I look forward to working with everyone, and I can’t wait to see what we as an association can accomplish together.”
Serving as a licensed REALTOR® for more than 22 years, Jared serves as a broker/salesperson with Murney Associates, REALTORS® in Springfield, Mo. He served as President of the Greater Springfield Board of REALTORS® in 2014 and as MLS President in 2017. Jared was named Missouri REALTORS® 2021 REALTOR® Salesperson of the Year, 2010 REALTOR® Salesperson of the Year for the Greater Springfield Board of REALTORS®, and 2017 recipient of the Margaret Martin Cooperative Spirit Award for his epitomized professionalism and cooperative spirit in his practice of real estate. Jared has served as a State Director since 2005.
To govern Missouri REALTORS®, Jared will serve alongside 2023 President Andrea Sheridan, President-Elect Derek Schriewer, Treasurer Bobbi Howe, and Immediate Past President John M. Mayfield, along with association CEO Breanna Vanstrom. These officials will comprise the 2023 Leadership Team and each, with the exception of the CEO, serves a one-year term on a volunteer basis.
