Columbia, Missouri – Robert “Bob” Bax of St. Louis, Missouri, has been named Missouri REALTORS® 2022 REALTOR® of the Year.
This prestigious award is given to a member who exemplifies “REALTOR® Spirit.” Dedication to the National Association of REALTOR’S® Code of Ethics, efforts to encourage good real estate practices among other real estate brokers, volunteer work, and business accomplishments are among the selection considerations for this award. Bax was presented with this award on Wednesday, September 21 during Missouri REALTORS® Fall Business Conference.
Serving as a licensed REALTOR® for 34 years and as broker and co-owner of Berkshire Hathaway Alliance Real Estate and Alliance Title, Bax continues to be involved in the real estate industry at the local, state, and national levels. Bax has sat on numerous committees, including his service as a member of Missouri REALTORS® Executive Committee from 2019 – 2021, and as a State Director for nearly 30 years. He also served as President of St. Louis REALTORS® in 2019 and as a national director in 2015, 2018, and 2019.
Among his many additional accomplishments, Bax received Missouri REALTORS® Bruce Aydt Code of Ethics Leadership Award in 2019 and Lifetime Award in 2021. He was also named a Missouri REALTORS® Honor Society recipient in 2020 and 2021. Bax was inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame in 2019.
In addition to Bax’s service as a REALTOR®, he continues gives back to his community by serving and advocating for a multitude of organizations. Entities include Sunshine Kids, ReBuild St. Louis, St. Louis Men’s Group Against Cancer, Ronald McDonald House, Rainbow Village, Villa Duchesne, Immaculata Parish, Missouri Athletic Club, and Eagle Bank & Enterprise Bank Advisory Boards, as well as serving as an LPC for the City of Brentwood and service on Planning & Zoning and the Board of Adjustment & Appeals.
