They educate, serve on panels, volunteer, and facilitate industry discussions. Their philanthropic efforts are inspiring, and the difference they are making within their communities is significant. Our Member Spotlight series highlights these efforts and introduces some of our wonderful members.
This month, we are shining our Member Spotlight on Tami Nuckolls Schramm.
Tami Nuckolls Schramm, REALTOR® with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Alliance Real Estate in Fenton, Mo., consistently gives back to her community. Outside of work, Tami is dedicated to assisting less fortunate members of her community through Feed My People. In fact, Tami has volunteered 1,250+ hours to Feed My People since 2015.
Feed My People is a food pantry located in High Ridge, Mo., dedicated to assisting single parents, short- and long-term unemployed individuals, and fixed-income and homeless persons by proving them with the opportunity to push forward during difficult times. In addition to providing meals, Feed My People offers a variety of assistance through programs such as job counseling, clothing assistance, school supplies, and much more.
As a volunteer, Tami spends every Thursday greeting clients, making appointments, and providing guidance to outside organizations with a desire to provide financial assistance through direct donations and charitable events. “Volunteering at Feed My People food pantry is rewarding beyond words,” said Schramm. “I believe throughout my volunteer history that I am the recipient of being a better person for the community as a result of the love I receive from our clients.”
