Columbia, Missouri – Over 400 REALTORS® from across the state will gather at Missouri REALTORS® Spring Business Conference in Jefferson City, Mo., April 26-28 to discuss a wide array of topics directly related to the real estate industry. This three-day conference will take place at the Capitol Plaza Hotel and Convention Center.
The conference will begin Tuesday with the much-anticipated Capitol Conference. This is an opportunity for Missouri REALTORS® to meet with elected officials and encourage lawmakers to protect the American Dream of Homeownership. Prior to Capitol visits, Governor Mike Parson will address members as the keynote speaker.
Following Capitol visits, President John Mayfield will welcome attendees at the conference’s Opening General Session. During this session, Missouri REALTORS® Leadership Team will host a 360-discussion, previewing what’s to come, issues being discussed throughout the conference, in addition to hearing from special guests. Breanna Vanstrom, the newly appointed CEO of Missouri REALTORS®, will also be introduced during this time.
Throughout the week, REALTORS® will have the opportunity to visit numerous exhibitor booths, attend educational sessions, and discuss industry hot topics. A highlight of the conference will be Wednesday’s Emerging Issues Forum. This forum, led by technology executive Mark Lesswing, will focus on the topics of FinTech and PropTech, and their future impact on business transactions. Wednesday evening, attendees are invited to participate in the Robert W. Borgmann RPAC Auction.
The conference will conclude Thursday morning with the Board of Directors’ meeting.
