Columbia, Missouri – On April 4, 2022, Janet Rodriguez Judd of Ballwin, Missouri, was appointed by Missouri Governor Mike Parson to serve on the Missouri Real Estate Commission (MREC).
In this role, Judd will work with six commission members to protect the public from incompetence, misconduct, gross negligence, fraud, misrepresentation, and dishonesty. MREC also enforces standards by implementing legislation and administrative rules while encouraging economic development and partnerships with existing small businesses.
Judd served as the 2021 President of Missouri REALTORS® and currently serves on the Missouri REALTORS® Leadership Team as Immediate Past President. As a licensed Missouri real estate broker-salesperson with over 36 years of real estate experience, Judd has earned the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award and was named Missouri REALTORS® Salesperson of the Year in 2016. She currently serves as Chairwoman of the National Association of REALTORS® Safety Advisory Council.
Prior to becoming a full-time real estate agent, Judd was a police officer for the Clayton Police Department.
Judd joins Missouri REALTOR® Sherry Lynn Farrell of Osage Beach on the Commission. Farrell’s current term expires on Oct. 16, 2026.
