Dear Missouri REALTORS®,
As your 2026 President, I'm proud to reflect on an outstanding Fall Business Conference held in St. Louis, where more than 500 REALTORS® from across Missouri came together to learn, connect, and strengthen our association. Through governance meetings, collaborative group discussions, educational sessions, and networking opportunities, members engaged in important conversations about the future of our industry and association.
The week began with the Region 9 Conference, which brought together REALTORS® from across Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri to hear the latest updates on national industry and association issues, connect with peers, and explore opportunities for greater involvement in REALTOR® leadership. This year's Fall Business Conference offered valuable professional development opportunities through educational sessions, Lunch and Learn programs, GRI coursework, and leadership-focused programming. Members gained practical insights and new ideas they can bring back to their businesses, clients, and communities.
Our Opening General Session featured keynote speaker Lisa Herceg, who encouraged attendees to embrace new opportunities, think strategically about growth, and adapt to an ever-changing marketplace. [Watch the Opening General Session and view the presentation.]
Throughout the week, members also enjoyed several special events including networking activities, wellness opportunities, and The REALTOR® Rumble Trivia Showdown hosted by Missouri Women's Council of REALTORS®. These events created meaningful opportunities to build relationships, share ideas, and strengthen connections with fellow REALTORS® from across the state.
During the Board of Directors meeting, members elected Jim Gamble, Bobbi Howe, and Debbie Weber to serve as National Association of REALTORS® Directors. State Directors also elected Tammy Sherrell-Shortt as Missouri REALTORS® 2028 Treasurer helping shape the future leadership of our association. We encourage you to view and download photos from the conference and relive some of the highlights from our time together in St. Louis. When sharing photos on social media, be sure to use the hashtag #MOREALTORS.As we move forward, I remain inspired by the dedication and engagement of our members. The Fall Business Conference was a powerful reminder that Missouri REALTORS® are at our best when we come together to learn, collaborate, and advocate for the future of our profession.
With gratitude,
Brian R. Jared
