Once again, we concluded a successful Spring Business Conference. It was great to see you all and I can’t wait to pick up where we left off in September!
We had more than 400 Missouri REALTORS® members, affiliates, and sponsors join us in Columbia. Following governance meetings and educational offerings on Tuesday, members participated in the Opening General Session that afternoon, with Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey. Attorney General Bailey highlighted his experiences leading up to his appointment, including what he hopes to accomplish as a statewide official. View the recording. Immediately following, attendees gathered for the Welcome Reception.
Wednesday began with governance meetings and additional educational opportunities, followed by the Emerging Issues Forum. Titled “Get Home, Stay Home,” members heard from NAR’s Vice President of Policy Advocacy, Bryan Greene, and HUD Regional Administrator Ulysses “Deke” Clayborn, on topics related to expanding homebuying opportunities, preserving homeownership, and the state of fair housing. Immediately following, conference attendees heard from candidates seeking the position of NAR Director during the NAR Director Candidate Forum. Congratulations to Jim Gamble of Kansas City and Justin Farrell of Osage Beach for being elected during Thursday’s Board of Directors meeting to serve as NAR Directors in 2024! View the recording.
The evening concluded with the Robert W. Borgmann RPAC Auction and dinner, where over $102,000 was raised! As always, I want to thank you all for your unwavering support of our industry.
